FAQ
WHO CAN WRITE MY PRESCRIPTION?
Prescriptions can be written by any of the following licensed professionals: MD (medical doctor), PCP (Primary Care Physician), Psychiatrist, Dentist, Doctor of Osteopathy, Physician's Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Naturopathic Physician. Prescriptions from Chiropractors, Optometrists, Podiatrists, and Psychologists are not acceptable unless the prescriber is also a licensed MD or DO.
WHAT SHOULD BE ON MY PRESCRIPTION?
Prescriptions are generally provided on a doctor's prescription pad, doctor’s office letterhead, or printed prescription form. All prescriptions must contain your doctor's signature, your doctor's contact information, the patient's full name, and a description of the therapy prescribed. If necessary, based on the therapy prescribed, we will set your CPAP/BiLevel machine to the recommended settings.
DOES MY PRESCRIPTION HAVE TO BE FROM A U.S. DOCTOR?
Generally, if your primary residence is outside the United States and you have a prescription from your doctor in that country it should be valid for your purchase as long as it meets the requirements outlined above. If you are unsure if your prescription is valid we would be happy to review it to ensure that it meets current FDA regulations for your purchase.
DOES MY PRESCRIPTION HAVE TO BE IN ENGLISH?
No. In most cases we can accept prescriptions written in any language. In certain circumstances we may request a certified translation be provided in English. We will inform you, after reviewing your prescription, if this is the case.
DO I HAVE TO SEND A NEW PRESCRIPTION EVERY TIME I ORDER?
Once we have your prescription on file we will keep it for all future orders. You do not need to send a new prescription every time you order. If we have your prescription on file, please note it in the comments section upon placing an order online or inform the sales representative on phone orders. If your required therapy has changed since your original prescription, please update your account or provide the new prescription to our team.
DO I NEED A NEW PRESCRIPTION OR WILL YOU ACCEPT MY OLD ONE?
In general prescriptions for CPAP and Oxygen Therapy are valid for life so your prescription will qualify regardless of how old it is. If you are unsure if your prescription is valid we would be happy to review it to ensure that it meets current FDA guidelines for purchase.
Note: It may delay the process if we have to obtain the prescription on your behalf from your doctor or physician. Based on experience, the process is generally expedited if the patient themselves contacts the office and requests a prescription to be sent.

Returns
We offer a 30-day return policy. You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your item, provided the package has not been opened. A 5.5% restocking fee will be applied to cover payment processing costs.
iHealthOutlet does not accept returns of opened medical equipment. However, all items purchased from us are covered under the warranty terms listed at the time of purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: For products such as Oxygen Concentrators, CPAP and BiPAP Machines, the following applies: If the package has a factory seal, it should be sealed to be eligible for return. We sell medical equipment that have to be Certified Patient Ready therefore we do not accept returns on opened items. Only exception to this rule is when the product is defective from the factory. If it is the case, contact us at info@ihealthoutlet.com and we will provide our warranty services.
If you haven't opened the product, you can contact us at info@ihealthoutlet.com to start a return. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Buy-Back Program
iHealthOutlet may offer to purchase back certain items within 30 days of delivery at a rate of 60% of the original invoice price (after all discounts and shipping fees), provided the equipment is in excellent condition (e.g., for products like the Inogen One G5, used for less than 5 hours). If the equipment shows signs of wear or use, the payout will be reduced accordingly to reflect the condition.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
Transaction fees are deducted from the amount of your refund. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
